For the love of Okonomiyaki

The result of an hour of queuing at Spitalfields yesterday afternoon:

I endured the masses of people who had also trekked to Liverpool Street (almost like a super mini Notting Hill) for the Japanese Festival yesterday. All my usual Japanese haunts (Benihana, Matsuri and Misato) held stalls in Spitalfields market and I as per usual stuffed my face silly. There was music, dancing, arts and crafts, sushi making and a lot of serious people watching. It still amazes me how well dressed and groomed Japanese people are in general. There was some serious envy on my part for most of the afternoon.

Highlight of the day: doodle wall fun!

On the topic of all things Japanese, I want to add a 102nd goal: attempt to recreate this.
